The communication among the members of the same organization is called internal communication. In other words the communication flow that takes place within an organization can be termed as internal communication.
Not only for decision making purposes but just to operate the routine functions of as organization, it’s members need to communicate each other. The nature and types of this communication is different from that of external communication.
In the words of R. Pal and Korlahalli – “Internal communication consists in transmitting information within the organization.”
Internal communication can use formal or informal channels. Every organization has own system of internal communication.
